Now
a logical quarry may arise…. Who is she?
Rejani.S.Anand,
the engineering student who committed suicide
in 2004, as she couldn’t afford the anti
– student policies of the then government
is the said girl who has been catalyzing our
struggle for justice and equality.
What
ever elements instigated her to do so, still
prevail here. Huge fee – structure, unruly
admission procedure, receipt less money collection,
donations, like commercial elements became night
mares, even to upper – middle families.
In the name of Inter Church Council, ‘Samrakshana
Sena’, management associations etc commercialization
became organized. Through issuing pastoral letters
and clubbing education with religion the church
councils are exploiting the believes of ordinary
people. Directly and indirectly UDF is supporting
those forces. Even the hidden relationship of
KPCC president with education mafias was already
unleashed.
Once
the last resort were courts. But now?
If
these all practices exist here, it will create
more scapegoats like Rejani. With a sincere
government we are on a mission to purify our
educational sector. As this is a mission for
our society, at any cost we will achieve this.
In her third death anniversary, in the name
of Rejani, we like to say one thing……
Mission may be challenging, but we will succeed
Goddess of justice may be blind, but we are
not.
