Church and education, their relation is as old as Adam.

Once through earnest efforts the Christian missionaries did spread the concept and value of education from Rome to Kanyakumari. But now?

Now a day’s education sector is being controlled by the people to who education is a business. Even though present LDF government made an ideal law to control the unruly educational sector occurring here, through court, the commercial entrepreneurs procured a for order. In the name of inter church council a minority in Christian community are simply commercializing education for monetary benefits. They tries to get social support through issuing pastoral letters and demanding all believers to be armed against government. They try to use the religion of peace to destruct the peace in our education sector.

Among Christian community itself Jacobaya sabha, Syro Malabar Sabha arch bishop respected Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil like people already registered their disagreement to the attitude of Inter church Council. Almost all believers are against the anti – student policies of the council.

In this scenario we Students federation of India requests the church councils to take a referendum among their believers and should recheck their decisions.
